While The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives discusses some of those lurking questions you may google (like what kind of underwear do they wear?), you shouldn’t expect a deep dive into LDS traditions or rituals. You should watch if you want to hear about their plastic surgery, orgasms, and cheating scandals.
It’s not surprising. The impetus for this series started on a swingers scandal that went viral a few years ago. The “soft-swinging” storyline is more prominent in Season 2, but so are themes of fetishes, infertility, and what counts as cheating in the Mormon world (or is it any world?).
If you’re looking for a younger, less wealthy (but still very, very privileged) Housewives series, this is one to try.
